To acquire a license please go to the clerk of the county you reside. If you live outside the state of Wisconsin, you will need to go to the clerk of the county that you will be married in.

After the wedding the license will be sent to the Register of Deeds in the county of the wedding. Please allow for processing time at the Register of Deeds. A good rule of thumb is to allow 14 days after you celebration.
